Crypto users are advised to enable additional security measures such as device encryption, remote device wiping, and regular software updates to minimize the risk of device compromises. 4. Customer Support Experience: The quality of customer support played a significant role in the account recovery process. Participants rated exchanges with responsive and helpful support teams more favorably. A staggering 85% of respondents who sought customer support during their recovery process reported positive experiences and successful account recoveries. Overwhelmingly, participants recommended engaging with exchanges that prioritize timely and efficient customer support to ensure a smooth account recovery process. However, our survey results shed light on successful strategies employed by crypto users who have faced similar account recovery issues.
